Risoluzione federale del 2 luglio 1875 sulle prestazioni della città di Berna per la sede federale

The law looks obsolete, unjustified, or duplicative.
Summary
This 1875 federal resolution approves a contract between the Confederation and the city of Bern fixing the city’s final obligations for hosting the federal seat. In exchange for fulfilling those agreed prestations, Bern is permanently released from the obligations it assumed in 1848 for the federal seat, while a separate 1854 arrangement on services for the mint remains in force.
Verdict reason
This is a one-off approval and settlement of historical obligations between the Confederation and Bern, not a general rule for current Swiss citizens. It is plainly obsolete: its purpose was to ratify a specific 1875 contract and extinguish old commitments, an institutional function long exhausted.
